Comicstreet is Brisbane’s annual indie comics market! Once a year we wrangle up a bunch of local independent comics makers to show off their work at the Queen Street Mall Stage.
We believe strongly that comics are for everyone! We love comics and we want everyone to see the exciting work being done locally that you never knew about. That’s why attending Comicstreet is completely free! Swing on by on our big day to connect directly with comics creators, read comics from Australia and beyond at our mini library table, and perhaps even be inspired to make your own comics!
Comicstreet is self-funded and makes no profit. We do this just for the love of comics and our comics community.

Sam (AKA Mamath) is our main organiser – when you contact Comicstreet you are almost certainly speaking to her (me, the writer!). Sam has been running Comicstreet since 2016.
